Spread padding on the floor and secure seams with duct tape.

Nail down tack strip alongside of the wall.
Remove old carpet and padding from room, then clean subfloor of debris.
Roll carpeting across the room.
The carpet installation is done and the basement looks great! Job will done.
Cut carpeting to fit around wall corners.
Align the seams between carpet piece , then slip piece of seam tape underneath. Activate the adhesive tape with a seaming iron.
Finish hallway install leading into bathroom.
Installation of basement staircase. Clean floor of debris, install tacks strips on each stair, install padding on each step. Measure each step individually and cut a guality carpet to fit the stair. Finish staircase install.
